BiYu Brawl 5

Las Vegas-based bantamweight Jerick Padsing will be one of the stars to watch on BiYu Brawl 5 at the BiYu Arena on February 20. The Filipino-born 28-year-old flies in from the bright lights of Nevada to defend his unbeaten 7-0 record – four via knockouts – when he fights Nicaragua’s Holman Matamoros (2-0) in a six-round contest. There is plenty of hometown interest with a number of Houston fighters on the BiYu Promotions card.

Leading the way is 34-year-old middleweight Adrian Santoyo, who has an unbeaten 5-0 record – all five by KO. He returns to the ring after more than three years since his last fight in Colombia in October 2022 and will take on Mexican Jesus Hernandez Escobar (5-6, 3KOs) in a four-round contest.

There’s also a lot of excitement around the return of Houston 19-year-old Ty Cassell. Victorious on his pro debut at the BiYu Arena in October 2025 against the experienced Jose Alvarado, the super lightweight goes head to head in a four-round bout with 27-year-old Nicaraguan debutant Holman Morales.
