Eridson Garcia is hotly tipped to breakout in 2026 - after beating rising Japanese fighter Taiga Imanaga via a split decision after a 10 round contest on the Ring V: Night of the Samurai card in Riyadh. Called up to fight with just 19 days preparation - and at lightweight (135lbs), Garcia showed his quality, including sending Imanaga to the canvas in the eighth round. The win has cement Garcia's status as a genuine world title contender at super featherweight or lightweight. He is the current super featherweight WBO NABO title holder and ranked 10th in the world by the WBO and 13th by the WBA (as at December 2025). Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Garcia brings explosive power and relentless pressure to every fight. His aggressive style and championship ambitions make him one of the most exciting fighters in BiYu Promotions' stable.
